Woodhams Farm Day Nursery is a purpose built barn style nursery, set within an acre of land in the rural surroundings of tranquil Woodhams Farm in Kingsworthy, Winchester.
The nursery first opened its doors in 2007 and has been fortunate enough to offer places to local families and those that commute through Winchester ever since. In 2012 the nursery had an extension added in order to keep up with the growing demand for quality early years provision. This added spacious areas for pre-school aged children, a dining area, separate kitchen and further toilets. We are extremely proud of our glowing reputation and pride ourselves on exceeding this daily.
our EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS
We have five dedicated base rooms for children aged 3 months to 5 years, along with versatile multi-purpose areas. Our outdoor space is equally impressive, featuring several garden areas, a balcony designed specifically for our babies, offering a peaceful and safe space for them to explore and enjoy the outdoors and a large hard-surfaced playground with a supersized sandpit. The serene rural surroundings complement the ethos of our setting, encouraging children to develop a love for the outdoors and to appreciate the calm and simplicity that nature provides.
Our highly skilled and dedicated team delivers exceptional care and education, a commitment that has been recognised by Ofsted. We have been awarded three consecutive Outstanding ratings, in 2011, 2015, and most recently in 2020.

CO-OWNER
Iโm Hayley and I co-own Woodhams Farm Day Nursery and have done since 2022. I have worked in the early years sector for 16 years. In fact, one of my first practitioner jobs was at Woodhams where I worked for a number of years and joined the leadership team as deputy manager. Since then I have gained a BA Honours degree in early childhood studies, managed large local day nurseries and worked as a Regulatory Inspector across the South East region for Ofsted.
MARK ROBINS
CO-OWNER
I am Mark, the other co-owner of Woodhams.ย I became an owner in 2011 and have been the Finance Director since then.ย I am an accountant by training but enjoy many different aspects of work within the nursery and in my other construction business.
